Who are you?
My name is Greg Lankenau. I've been shooting photography seriously since 2000, when I took a photography class on a whim. I enjoyed it so much I haven't been able to stop!

I currently live in State College, Pennsylvania, with my spouse, Hillary. I'm a graduate student in Geography at Penn State University. Ideally, this will add to my list of degrees that I have to explain at cocktail parties; I also have an MS in Systems Science from Portland State University. I seem to like schools named PSU.

What does that have to do with photography?
Not a lot, though I am mindful the cultural impact my creative work may have, and try to create positive contributions whenever possible. The Feminine Strength project (see below) is my most straightforward example of this. More generally, I'm most proud of my nude work; I believe that our bodies should be celebrated, cherished, and valued, not hidden as something shameful. For the same reasons, I rarely retouch a person to "correct flaws". Mainstream media does a great job in making us feel terrible about ourselves; I hope to show our true beauty in the way we are.
